L-Block Retaining Wall System, Bairnsdale VIC

Vikon Precast were approached by a builder to design and construct a retaining wall solution on a residential project.

The design requirements for the retaining wall was 33m long with a 45 degree corner in the middle of the wall. The height also had to taper on each L-block used, with a brush face finish and painted charcoal grey colour. The highest point in the wall was 2.4 metres down to the lowest point being 600mm.

Vikon Precast rose to the challenge by designing and constructing the retaining wall to these specifications, knowing our retaining wall system was ideal for this wall design. The wall was also installed and backfilled in only 2 days!
